SYSTEMS
Virtue can provide a fully secured pay per view solution
for streaming content. Virtue's pay per view clients have
included Carlton Interactive for Survivor, News of the
world, Freeserve for the Lennox Lewis fight, and Wembley
TV for various concerts. There are currently 4 pay per
view systems available:
Dialler
This is a tool that is best suited for users who are connecting
to the Internet via a dial-up connection on a PC. The
dialler charges the user a per minute rate for accessing
the content and is available in the UK, US, Netherlands,
Germany, Australia, Austria and Switzerland.
Premium Rate Call
Users call a premium rate number to obtain an entry code
that allows them to gain access to the content.
Reverse Charge SMS
This is where users are given a unique entry PIN number
to access the content when they send a text message from
their mobile phone to a 'short code' (4-5 digit number).
Credit Card
Credit card details are logged onto a secure area of the
website for payment to be processed and a PIN number will
be provided which will allow access to content.
