PLAYLOUDER AND THE GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL
APPOINT VIRTUE BROADCASTING TO PROVIDE THE LIVE AND ON DEMAND
STREAMING FOR THE WORLD'S FIRST EVER 'VIRTUAL' FESTIVAL,
GLASTONBURY 2001

Ltd, Europe's leading Internet broadcaster, today announced
that it has been chosen to provide the live and on demand
streaming for the world's first ever "virtual" festival,
Glastonbury 2001. Glastonbury festival and Playlouder
have joined forces to create and present the festival which
will take place on 22nd, 23rd and 24th June over the Internet
(URL: www.playlouder.com).

will stream the live performances from international headline
artists over the Internet, together with some of the best
performances from the festival archives from the last 6
years. virtuebroadcasting
will also provide production services to some of the live
webcasts, which include The Stereophonics, Basement Jaxx
and Gorillaz's Brixton Academy concerts. In addition to
the main stage there will be a virtual Dance Tent featuring
DJ sets, interviews with stars of previous Glastonbury Festivals,
and the opportunity to experience other areas of the festival,
such as a virtual Green Fields and virtual Healing Fields.
