Now music fans can log onto HMV.com to view live webcasts of special events, concerts, CD launches and interviews. To kick off this dynamic partnership, HMV.com and virtuecast.com are webcasting a live performance featuring pop sensation, Island Recording artists Hanson.

On Friday, May 19, 2000 fans can log on to HMV.com to watch Hanson challenge contest winning fans in a simulated 'Indy 500' race from Playdium Toronto, starting at 4:30 p.m. (EST). Then at 5:00 p.m. (EST), watch as Hanson perform a three song acoustic set featuring songs from their new album, "This Time Around".

"Featuring live concerts and events is part of our strategy to make HMV.com a one stop source for music fans," states Mr. Koblun.
